Turning AI on or off

One switch decides whether CeleriticAI is used anywhere in your organisation. It is on by default. Only an owner or admin can turn it off, and the setting applies to everyone in the organisation.

Go to Settings, then under Organisation choose CeleriticAI. Only owners and admins can see this page. If CelerityHat support is helping you, they can see the setting but cannot change it.

The switch is labelled Use AI in this organisation. Whichever way you switch it, Celeritic asks you to confirm first (Turn off AI or Turn on AI). The page shows when the switch was last changed.

•  The assistant and Insights disappear for everyone in the organisation: their entries leave the sidebar, and the Ask CeleriticAI button no longer appears on any page.

•  Nothing is sent to an AI service for your organisation. New and updated documents are not prepared for AI search, and AI does not pull facts or offers out of them. AI writes no company knowledge summaries, partner summaries or insights. Meeting notes are not summarised, meeting prep briefs are not available, and AI does not check registration fields.

•  AI work in progress stops before its next step. A request that was already sent may still finish, but its result is not shown while AI is off.

•  Nothing is deleted. Everything AI produced before (search data, extracted facts and offers, summaries, insights and assistant conversations) is kept, but it is not used or shown while AI is off.

Your documents stay in Collateral, and you can still preview them and find them with Collateral search. Meeting notes still show their own text, without an AI summary.

Everything comes back at once: the assistant, Insights, summaries and insights reappear, and AI work resumes. Documents AI has already prepared are used as they are. The rest are prepared, usually within a few minutes. Meeting notes waiting for a summary are summarised on the next run.

•  One document at a time: to keep a single document away from AI instead, use Use in AI in that document's settings in Collateral.

•  CelerityHat's own documents in your library are not affected by this setting.

•  Saved text stays: if someone saved a plan or registration draft that the assistant helped write to a deal, it stays on that deal. Notifications already sent stay where they are.

•  Your own conversations: you can still delete your assistant conversations while AI is off, under Settings, Manage my data.

•  The activity feed records who turned AI on or off. Only owners and admins see that entry.
