Collateral: storing partner materials
Updated 23 Oct 2026
On this page
Collateral keeps your partner documents (offer decks, proof-of-value write-ups, capability decks, case studies and program guides) in one place, so your team stops re-attaching the same files to every deal.
Open Collateral in the sidebar.
Folders
The left column lists a General folder and one folder for each partner your organisation works with, shown with the partner's logo. On a narrow screen the folders run across the top instead. Trash sits at the bottom of the column.
A document filed in a partner's folder also shows on that partner's page, in its Collateral card. See The partner page.
You see the folders for the partners an owner or admin has given you access to. If a folder says you don't have access, ask an owner or admin for access.
Adding files
1. Open the folder the files belong in.
2. Choose Add files, or drag files anywhere onto the page (you see Drop files to upload to this folder).
3. Watch the progress list: each file shows Uploading, then Uploaded.
If a file has exactly the same contents as one you already have, Already in Collateral opens and names the existing copy. Choose Skip it or Upload it anyway. Anything else you selected keeps uploading.
For a short while after upload, a new file shows Processing. You can search its contents in a few minutes. This means Celeritic is still reading it, so a search cannot find words inside it yet. If Celeritic cannot read a file, it shows Could not read this file. with a Try again button.
Finding and opening files
• Use Search this folder by name above the list, and sort by Name, Newest first or Oldest first.
• Click a file name to preview it. The preview has Download, Settings and Delete buttons.
• Use the download button on a row to save a copy.
The header shows how much of your organisation's storage is in use. When it is full, you cannot upload anything new until some space is freed.
File settings
Choose Settings on a row to open the settings panel:
• Name: rename the file.
• Folder: move it to another folder.
• Shows on partner pages: add other partners the document is relevant to. It then also appears on their partner pages.
• Category: Offer, Proof of value, Capability deck, Case study, Program guide, Funding or MDF, Deal registration or Other. Click the selected category again to clear it.
• Who can see this, AI assistant (the Use in AI switch) and External sharing (Do not share outside Celeritic): owners and admins only. Members see them greyed out with Only an organisation admin can change this.
• Danger zone: Delete this document.
Any member can rename, move, recategorise and tag a file in a folder they can open.
CelerityHat documents
Some files carry a CelerityHat badge. These are program guides and other references CelerityHat maintains for everyone, so your team does not keep its own copy of the same partner material. You can preview and download them, but not change or delete them.
Deleting and restoring
Deleting a file moves it to Trash. If it is attached to deals, the confirmation says so, and it is removed from those deals. Each file in Trash shows how many days are left before it is removed for good, with Restore and a permanent delete button.
Members can delete and restore files they uploaded. Owners and admins can delete and restore any file.
Removed partners
When your organisation removes a partner, its files are kept. Owners and admins see them under Inactive partners, grouped by partner, and can preview and download them there. Add the partner again to bring the files back into its folder. They still count toward your storage.
Using Collateral elsewhere
• Deals: in a deal's Attachments section, choose Attach to pick an existing document (the picker searches names and contents) or upload a new one. See The deal drawer.
• Partner pages: Attach an existing document adds a document you can already see to that partner.
• Previews: a file opened from another page has Open in Collateral to jump to it here.
• CeleriticAI: the assistant can search and quote documents that are allowed in AI. See CeleriticAI assistant.
Good to know
• An owner or admin can turn off AI for one document, or for the whole organisation. See Turning AI on or off for your organisation.
• Do not share outside Celeritic marks a document as one that should not be uploaded to a partner portal. The document stays visible and usable inside Celeritic.
• Files limited to owners and admins do not appear for members anywhere: not in folders, search, or the assistant.
• To find a document from anywhere in Celeritic, use cross-workspace search.
